Most of us started watching English movies in ... Sex Education. Because all the Hindi movies were showing, this was it. and if by some chance it is dumb, we find it refreshing we should at least have the know-how! But my English teacher was a religious person. At one point, he had to show us a movie, he chose one when no one was kissing anyone. Children's Day Is Over! And sitting in a room with 60 other students, I saw. 'Wow, to watch a movie and learn English?' And since I rely on it, watching movies has improved my speaking English skills. So if you've been watching movies ever since Jack (yes, I know) was killed by the Titanic nor have I learned the language yet
then in today's video, we will see. 4 easy steps to follow for movies to start teaching you English. My five favorite movies to watch improve your Judgmental skills. And in the end, I'll give you a Bonus Tip to you learn English every time you get on your phone or laptop. But before that, if you like my work make sure you get that a big button like oil because it motivates me to make more videos. Let's get started! I'm sure a lot of people have asked you that. watch the same movie twice, read subtitles, pause and write down the words you have read.
But all these suggestions make the movie very boring.
But if you want to learn English again AND have fun
so here are 4 steps you can follow.
# 1: Get started easily
Movies are very easy to learn English from
they are made by people like you.
Let me explain.
I am Indian again when I was in college
I didn't understand that Jack (yes, yes) was telling Rose ...
but I understood what Kohli Saab said to Aishwarya Rai.
'Have you already talked to my mother?'
'Yes. He is very serious about marriage. '
That’s the same reason why you understand my English too
because we are both from the same country.
Foreign-made movies will have their cultural references, such as ...
Caviar, Brooklyn bridge, Tiffany's deceptive sod.
items and phrases that we have not yet found.
And because both language and reference are new to us,
our brains shut down completely and refuse to learn.
So in the beginning, choose movies that are made by people who are like them
the way you speak like you, the same culture as you
because that makes learning much easier.
Some Desi English movies to watch are.
Bride and Discrimination,
Wrap them up like Beckham again.
Pi's life.
So choose any of these movies too.
'Bring it on!'
Step # 2: Who do you want to be?
As a kid, I wanted to be like Small Wonder Week.
An intelligent, very powerful robot.
I wouldn’t understand everything from that TV show though
my brain makes an extra effort to understand it
because I liked his character.
So step # 2 is watching movies that connect with you
on a personal level regardless of who they are made of.
For example, suppose you want to become a lawyer
then watch similar movies.
Legally Blonde,
A liar.
If you want to learn to speak publicly, watch movies like this.
The King's Speech,
Association of Dead Poets.
If you want to be a Wizard.
Now there are 2 reasons why I ask you to watch these types of movies.
# 1. Since these are closely related to who you are,
you can read English sentences from them
that you can use in your daily conversations.
and # 2. Who knows? Because you love them so much,
these characters can end up encouraging you to work harder in your careers.
Step # 3: Try to understand the different ways of speaking.
How people use the English language all over the world
very different from each other!
For example, like India, I would say .. 'Hello'.
An American can say.
'Hey, what's up?'
Britisher can ...
'How are you? What's going on? '
An Australian person might say.
'Hello, dear! Hello, I'm from Australia. '
And Louis of Ant-Man will say ...
If people all over the world, can't match the word ... 'Hello', just think how different it is
some sentences make sense.
But whether in the workplace or the business world, it may be necessary
contacting people from the US, UK, Canada, Australia.
When I was a Software Engineer, my first client was from Australia
and I always stay with my leading team sitting next to me during conference calls
because I will not understand what the customer is asking us to do.
That’s what a language sounds like to me.
So for this step, choose one accent per month
esp. the one related to your work, and watch movies of characters with that name.
In Britain, you can watch similar movies.
Notting Hill,
Kingsman,
Love Actually.
In Australia, you can follow actors like.
Chris Hemsworth,
Nicole Kidman,
Hugh Jackman.
Step # 4: Be a tough fan!
An active fan is someone who is 100% concerned
by their favorite game, movie, or person.
And if you become an avid fan of Space or a character
then you will do all you can to know more about them.
For example, a Marvel fan will not just watch Marvel movies
but also read all comic books.
A Harry Potter fan will read all 7 books (multiple times),
they will watch all the movies and read all the fiction stories online.
And fans of Christopher Nolan will watch the same film
100 times until they understand.
just because they are Nolan's followers.
To find out where your loyalty lies because when you become a 'follower' of something
you will make everything you know more about it
and in that process, also learn English.
Here are 5 types of movies I think you should watch
to increase your horizons because after all,
diversity is the spice of life.
# 1: Animal, watch similar movies.
Croods,
Shrek (all 'em),
Moana,
How to Train Your Dragon (1,2 3).
They Are made with children in mind,
so they will have simple sentences to learn From.
For Super-Hero movies, I recommend them.
All Avenger movies
Star Wars Ne.
Wonder Woman. You should watch Wonder Woman!
All of these Super-Hero movies will help you Too
