The Best Budget Gaming Laptop PERIOD

Hey guys, this is Austin.

Recently, I made a video for this guy.

Six hundred and fifty dollar gaming computer

fully powered by AMD Ryzen.

That made me think

about how it would accumulate in the Intel and Nvidia options.

That's where this comes in.

This is the Acer Aspire Five.

Not only does it have a Core i5 processor and MX150 graphics,

but surprisingly, it comes in even cheaper

$ 600 price tag.

On paper, the boy looks very similar to HP Envy.

So we get a 15.6-inch display

and is reasonably thin

you think it's a toy laptop.

I would say at first glance, the quality of construction

is not the same as that HP.

It's all in plastic.

Although not terrifying,

it’s kind of lacking that premium feeling of Jealousy.

Still, that is unheard of

made for real performance.

Not only do we get a full-size Ethernet jack,

but we also get USB-C HDMI,

USB 3.0 port, and SD card reader,

on the other hand, we also get two USB ports.

You get a fully customized keyboard layout

above the number line.

And even though most of the laptop is plastic,

it has this metal shell inside

which feels as good as the rest of the palm.

Inside this boy has an eighth-gen Core 5-8250U

so it will be one of the core chips.

You get those pictures of the Nvidia MX150,

8 gigabytes of second DVR 4 channel,

and a 256 gigabyte SSD.

However, all you need to do is burn Aspire Five

before you realize there is one big thing missing:

good looking screen.

So on paper, it's not bad.

We get a 15.6-inch panel with 1080p resolution.

The problem ... too much

an unattractive TN panel;

The color is right, but the contrast is straightforward.

And especially with viewing angles,

the screen doesn't look that big.

I get it.

Acer wanted to reduce some of the costs

being able to find this works a lot

on such a cheap laptop,

but the screen is hard to deal with.

Happily, though, not all is bad.

So the keyboard is an old Acer.

It’s not the most touching thing in the world

but especially with play, you will be perfectly fine.

And thank you that this guy uses it too

Windows touchpad pad.

I love seeing these, as they are always so beautiful

not only to track more accurately

but especially those that affect various touches.

If you put Acer aside with HP Envy

you will see that this boy has a very good show.

Of course, it may not be as bright as I would like,

but compared to the TN panel over here, it is still night and day.

Also, this boy will be a touch screen,

it is flexible, and built on quality wisdom

not only will this side be thinner

but also just feel like a lot of premium.

One thing Acer will do for you

the ability to develop.

So under a few pieces at the bottom

you will not only see that you have access to your memory

if you want to increase that,

but over here when you come up with this little cover

you will see that we are full

two and a half inches drive bay is empty.

So if you want you can upgrade with a larger hard drive.

We can throw a second SSD on this guy.

When it comes to performance,

Aspire is just a different league.

Sure, Envy has that beautiful screen

with better construction quality, but in return,

you not only get an SSD but you also get one

just a powerful combination with Core i5

and dedicated graphics.

The 5 8250U brings good quad-core performance.

That's where most of the top gaming laptops come in

and be right above the Ryzen within Mona.

Drawings are where things start.

So with the Nvidia MX150 GPU, while it may not be the case

the most powerful graphics card in the world,

you get enough performance to play

some great 1080p games as you will soon see.

And when you compare it to the Ryzen chip inside HP,

just vague graphics will not be able to compete.

The real test, however, is, of course,

what it’s like to play in real-world games.

First, we have CS GO.

Now as a game that either can be

I am a few years old,

still incredibly popular

this is one of my favorite ways to test PCs.

And here in the top 1080p settings

We are approaching 80 to 100 frames per second.

Super playable.

(Fun Music)

Unplayable is my gun right now.

Oh, I got it ?!

I got it ?! Ohhh!

The game I just found the target for is Rocket Rock.

So, like CS GO, it is not difficult to use

so we get between 40 and 50 frames per second

in high settings in 1080.

Also, this is another good example ...

That's not a good idea.

Another good example of a game is (laughs) ...

great with a 600 dollar laptop.

It is good that we are getting this kind of work

for something less expensive.

Next, in some of the newest episodes, we have PUBG.

Now, we're just in the opening

but at 1080 low we get 35 frames per second.

Man, this game has come a long way now as they don't have it

300,000 people give birth in one place.

I will say one thing.

Or the screen is so bad on this laptop

I have to turn it down a little bit

to get the best camera angle

means it looks a little washed right now.

I wish they had used it

just for extra money on good paneling.

Man, this was going to end.

So, low 1080p is a big play here.

So we estimate 30 to 35 frames per second.

If you want to maximize those frames

you may go down to 720p.

But with a game like PUBG

I feel like I’m on a 600 dollar laptop

I don’t complain about low settings.

To try this,

we have a middle ground: the Shadow of War.

Now this is not open
